On Saturday, December 11, Lexington Middle School Robotics participated in the Botball Educational Robotics Fall Challenge. This was a virtual tournament where the students needed to build and code two different styles of robots to complete tasks and earn points on the board. The group won the tournament championship as well as the KISS Engineering Award for simple yet effective design. The competition was completed over Zoom with Middle and High School teams from throughout the state. Lexington offers competitive robotics and aerial robotics (drone) for students in grades 6-12. Please contact Bridget Johnson at the Middle School if you are interested in participating or supporting our robotics program.
